The museum of Ziębice can be proud of the largest in Europe collection of irons, with the oldest Polish from 1655 (owned by the National Museum in Wrocław). In this exhibition hall it is possible to see all kinds of irons, that were used since 17th century till now. Here we will find iron with heater (=soul), coal heated, solid (monolithic) heated in the whole on a stove plate as well as spirit, gas and electric irons. A curiosity is collection of hair irons (curlers). The exhibition also comprises iron supports as well as copper forms for cakes and pates, jellies or desserts. | ||||
